Nathan's obituary published in The Tennessian newspaper.
Our hero Nathan Tutt
30 November 2011
It is with a heavy heart that we have to announce this sad, sad news. Yesterday on Nathan's blog it was stated Nathan was in hospital in Reno, Nevada and unstable YET he was still holding on but his body wasn't. We heard early this morning Nathan's battle ended after the bravest of fights to defeat this disease later that evening. Our hearts, love, thoughts and prayers are with Donna, Ronnie, Hilary, Gavin, Gipsy and the entire Tutt/Campbell family at this time. We would like you all to join us in letting them know we are here for them and have our continued support, love and prayers always.
Meanwhile please, please continue to leave your messages of support for his family. The auction below will continue as planned and 100% of the winning bid will be donated towards Nathan's treatment costs as pledged.
Silent auction in aid of Team Tutt
Wow, take a look at this! Have you ever heard the saying, "Taking the shirt off a man's back?" We've managed to go one better by "taking the jacket off Jerry Scheff's back!" Jerry and Natalie Scheff have very kindly donated Jerry's Sun Studio jacket to auction to help raise funds to go towards Nathan Tutt's treatment for cancer. The jacket is size large, is 75% wool (perfect for the cold winter ahead), has two side pockets and stud fastening down the front. It comes with six Memphis pin badges and is in pristine condition (see pictures below). The winning bidder will also receive a personalised letter of authenticity and a signed photo direct from Jerry himself. This would make a fantastic one-of-a-kind Christmas present for someone special! If you would like to own this fabulous one-off collectors item, here's what you need to do:
1. Decide how much you would be willing to pay (serious bids only please)
3. Wait until 24 December to see if you have won!
The winning bidder will be contacted via email on 24 December letting them know the good news and a PayPal invoice will be included. Please note that the cost of postage will be added to your bid amount. 100% of the winning bid will be donated to the Team Tutt appeal. If you have any questions about the auction, postage or the jacket itself, please email info@tcbfanclub
Happy bidding and good luck!
